After the 2nd sale of the season took place yesterday, 26 August, the third sale of the season was held today with an offering of 6 577 bales.

The offering mainly consisted of fine micron wools, with 66% testing 20 micron and finer and 69,8% of the merino wools on offer being certified as sustainable.

A highest price of R246,36 p/kg(clean) was paid for a 2-bale lot of 16,4-micron merino wool.
